Qanawat: Weavers of Wool

Freya Stark (d. 1993) briefly records a visit to a weaver in Qanawat. He worked at a “clumsy loom” in a dark room. The weaver produced textiles with patterns in dull orange that were used for cushions. See also: Weaver of Cotton; Weaver of Silk.
