Damascus: Makers of Head-gear

Date: 1741-62

In his chronicle, the Damascene barber, Shihab al-Din Ahmad ibn Budayr (d. after 1762), records the obituary of the head of the guild of qāwuq makers. Qāwūq is a type of head-gear. See also: Collector of Wool.
