Ibrahim b. ʿAli b. Fuhayd is recorded on an inscription as having started work on the construction of one of the towers of the citadel of Busra in 599/1202. See also: Stone-cutter; Mason; Carpenter.

The ustādh (master), ʿUbayd b. Samsam al-Misri is recorded on an inscription as having built a minaret in the al-ʿArūs mosque of Busra in 618/1221. This work probably also involved the restoration of the courtyard. See also: Stone-cutter; Mason; Carpenter.
