Aleppo: Makers of Pipe Bowls

Date: 1750s-1770s

Pipe bowls were made for the three-part tobacco pipe known as a chibouk. The makers of pipe bowls needed to import clay from locations such as Damascus and Sidon. See also: Potter; Maker of Pipe Stems.
